The cultural association The Genoeser aims to promote illustration and the visual arts by portraying the beauty and contradictions of Genoa (Italy) in the form of covers for an imaginary magazine. The Association recognizes the intrinsic value of visual art and seeks to create meaningful opportunities for artists — both local and from other cities — fostering connections and collaborations with other cultural organizations in the region.

Inspired by the Faculty of Architecture in Genoa, the illustration captures the vibrant spirit of student life. Amid red-brick walls and a surreal pink-orange sky, two students about to kiss embody youthful innocence, while light and color turn architecture and nature into a waking dream.
